FF8 - How to get Shiva back from Quistis(the tutor)

I finished the Fire Cavern boss beating and came back to the academy place
but forgot to junction the Shiva GF (which was assigned to her) back to me.
Now I am having problems in the communication tower boss .. the girl (forget
her name.. starts with a S) has no GF and can only attack..How do I get it
back from Quistis? Her face shows on my Menu screen without any Status. When
I try to junction Shiva to someone else, it says that Quistis has already
taken it. Help!

you should go to the junction screen, and first take it off of quistis. i
think you must chose the command "off" or someting like that, you can
unjunction it then.

Go to switch in the menu options on the right hand side of the screen. In
it, you will see a choice for character exchange or Junction exchange.
Junction exchange exchanges everything junctioned on the character (GFs and
magic) onto a seperate character.

Go to Switch, go to Switch Junction, switch Selphie and Quistis's
Junctions (which includes GFs and all magic spells held, Junctioned or
not).
(Free tip: Don't forget to Draw Siren from the boss at the top of the
tower).
