But...it's really been bugging me...I have to ask: Has Final Fantasy
Tactics come out in the US or Canada yet? I've heard conflicting reports
that it has, including one store that's been known to lie about releases
which said, "we sold our last one the other day...come back the end of the
month."
Sigh.
Well...hate to bug you with such a stupid question...but I figured I may as
well ask...

Good question- I keep hearing January 28th- The guy at my store doesn't know.
There is certainly nothing like the hype-campaign that preceeded the release of
FF7. What does that mean? Don't they have high hopes for this one?
Anybody have facts?

I believe you when you say that it is coming out on the 28th, but I'd just like to point out
that maybe the reason a lot of people are so confused, is because Toys R Us is saying that
it comes out on the 27th.

So, when does the game come out again? :)
Just kidding. Anyway, can anyone explain to me just what Final Fantasy
Tactics is? I saw the ad in the back of the instruction book and it
doesn't look so good. I loved FFVII because it wasn't one of those
knights-and-wizards games. It happened in what I call "modern" times.
It had cities with motorcycles and cars and guns and stuff. And FFT
looks like another one from medievel (sp?) times. Also, how about the
length? Multiple CD's or not? Thanks for any info.

The 27th is the release date. That means that is the date that the game is
shipped from the warehouses, to the stores. The expected date that they
will arrive is the 28th or later. That is the "street date", when you can
expect the games to be in the store.
Remember, don't go by the "release date". Count on one or two days after
that for it to hit the shelves.
