Age should have nothing to do with the things that you find enjoyable
in your leisure time whether they be...

Playing Video Games
Putting Together Models
Participating In Sports
Hanging With Friends, etc.

Would the people in this NG, please reply with their ages?

Well, save for the twenty-year old bit, this sounds mighty familiar to my
story. I thought I had so much to tell her and all this philosophical
gratitude for her presence in my life. About how her departure would
render me pulseless and life would incessantly look clouded over.
However, I've lost the feelings for her. Yeah! Unburdened at last, baby!

Of course, I could barely walk the couple of days after we split.

Mind you, this was a different girl.

Love sucks. I knew there was a reason why she was my first femme fatal. None since then either. Frankly, I think people are afraid of me, and well they should be.

Individualism sucks. As does nonconformicism.

Me, I'm 18. And I still love playing video games, even if I should be spending
the time studying chemistry, psychology, maths, and geology. Well, to
paraphrase some of the characters of William Golding's "Lord of the Flies,"
sucks to academia (and sucks to be me).

I USED to feel that way, that age didn't matter in a relationship. But I

guess when the you still have feelings for the 18 year old girl that you're

not going out with anymore but remained friends with but can't tell her how

you really feel because you don't know if she still feels the same way and

All right! Personal profiles! Let's get some facts about these people.

As for myself:
-----------
I uh...dabble in photography.

I used to run sports-wise, but have forgone that. Not because I sucked,
'cuz I didn't, but because competition in braun I don't like. And don't
assume I'm a weakling, 'cuz I'm not. I weight-lift even. And don't think
I am a muscle-head, 'cuz I just do it to get out of gym class. The only
thing sports wise I do now it scoreboard for basketball games.

I uh...dabble in Macintosh programming and page authoring. Nothin' extensive.

I uh...dabble in writing.

I uh...read a lot.

I uh...am 16.

I uh...have really curly hair.
------------
There we go. Ya' know, these personal profiles, despite the fact that
they reveal information that should not be taken into account sometimes,
are rather necessary. Gives perspective, it does.

20. But almost 21! Really! (Just... 6 months and 6 days)

Actually, I don't know why I care about 21, anyway. It's not like I drink

Which base? If it's e, you're both ln (10^18)~41. If it's base 10,
then you're log[10] (10^18)=18. [log[10] x and 10^x are inverse
functions, leaving only 18, for people who don't do well on math.]

If it's some other base, we'll have to do some figuring...to wit:

ln x
log[b]x= -------
ln b

Well, I said logarithm and not natural logarithm, and when no base is

answer it.

Ah... OK. That number would have to be the smallest number other than 1 that is
both triangular and tetrahedral. And the logarithm of one quintillion using
that as its base comes out to... a number whose cube and fourth power together
use all the digits from 0 to 9.

It's easy. (No, really. It is.) The log of any number x at any base
b is the quotient of the natural logarithm of x and the natural
logarithm of b. If have a calculator that does both base 10 and base
e calculations, you can verify this by taking log x and (ln x/ln 10)
and seeing that the results are the same. I don't have my calc
textbook with me, so I can't do the proof.

Well, I would have written it in plain English but as a courtesy to the two
people it refers to I decided not to flat-out say their ages and instead encrypt
it in a language no-one understands anymore - maths! So their ages remain a
complete mystery.

Well, almost no-one understands it. I think my prof understands it, and maybe
this kid in my class, but not many other people.

Your girlfriend sounds pretty impressive, here's mine

Name: Joy Toy Rubber Butthole Vibrator
Height: ~ 1 ft
weight: 3 pounds

I met her back in '94 at a sex toy shop. She's shaped like a woman's butt
with a large hole in the middle. She puts out all the time, she never
complains, she doesn't need birthday, Christmas, or Valentines day presents,
and she is very low maitnence.
