A) It was for an uncompleted character/command. This is probably the most
likey since summon never seems to work.
B) It is actually possesed by every character and is the line in the
programming telling to show the esper when a magicite is used.
C) It belongs to an unfound character. This is the least likely, mostly
because this other person hasn't been found yet.

A=Most likely
B=Yea right bucko... The game was done in assembly... You don't make name
calls in assembly...
C=Doubt it
I beleive that summon was originally for another character that did not
make either versions of the game... But they decided not to take it out...
maybe because of time.

It doesn't work, at least not for Terra. A bunch of messed up text
apears, she tries to cast it on herself, misses, and then the battle
continues on as normal.
If there are any temporary secret characters remaining to be found, then
maybe they can use it succesfully.

Another Idea... possibly another name for morph... A lot of FF3's text was
changed for nintendo's guidelines(EX: Son of a Submariner!) Maybe while
brainstorming ideas, Summon was decided on... then changed to morph
towards the end. Terra would Summon here Esper or Human form...
Terra's (Tina's) morph in Japan was called Trans (as in Transform)...
Now, what can you summon in FF3?

You can summon an esper... maybe in the begining, instead of having the
esper menu inside the magic section, it was planned to be an extra command
to replace the esper selection from inside?
