FF7 - HELP : Where are the Harpies ?

I've spent hours turning around the Gold Saucer Area to find some harpies

and morph them into Elixirs but it's no use I just didn't find one !

Where are they ? ? ?

( Or does anyone knows a better way to collect Elixirs ? )

Also is it possible to get the Trine Enemy Skill in Disc 3, when the

materia Keeper is dead, and the Stilves cannot be reached any more ?

 I always encounter Harpies when I encounter chocobos. Try equipping a choco lure and going to the choco tracks by the gold saucer.

An easier way to get elixirs: Use the W-Item duplication trick

No you can't get trine any more.

I'am in the same situation as you but I have found the other monster who can be morphed in elixir are the Vlakorados (red and horned dinosaur with 33333 HP) and these are more easily found in the green land of the northern continent, next to snow fields. If you are in high level and using the best weapons who consistenly do 9999 HP of damage, do three time 9999 and then morph it to elixir. This is the fastest method i have. I have done this because i missed the W-Item materia back to raid on Midgar and couldn't get it after.

Since you're on Disc 3, you can try to dig W-Item up in the Bone Village. A
lot of good materia from disc 2 is there if you missed it.
