Yeah, that't an exciting idea, but I'm not sure if it would work. A party
in which everyone had Math Skill could kick everyone else's ass no matter
what. They'd have to make drastic changes.
True, like possibly removing that character, or changing the battlefields
(make them larger!). Also, a party of Lancers with a decent player at the
other end could easily decimate the masses; I never used Calculators. We
do need a Final Fantasy Online though- if Ultima can do it, Square can do
it better, and Tactics is one heck of an awesome way to do it...
Um, I ain't got FFT yet, but I hear people on about the greatness of the
Math skill. What is it?

You can do things like L3 Flare without having any casting time or loss of
MP, and you can use it on more than one person.
Blimey! I'm guessing it's a tad difficult to get this skill...?

Screw Math. You can keep your Math. My Simple party (Ramza as Monk,
Chemist, Mediator, Orlandu, Red Chocobo) kicks so much rear it's not even
funny. Orlandu (who, by the way, thanks to Germinas Boots and Move + 1, now
has the range of a Chocobo) walks in, opens up with a nice friendly Lighning
Stab. Ramza follows up with Wave Fist or Earth Slash for an easy extra 400
damge. Then Red moves in and Choco Meteors for some heavy damage If they
try hurting me, my Chemist (who is a MASTER, BTW) will get everyone back on
their feet, while the Mediator blasts their frikkin' heads off at a safe
distance, and those who don't die wind up with me thanks to train. So once
again I'd like to say...SCREW MATH!!! I beat the game twice and I have
never once gotten ANYONE *NEAR* the requirements for a Calculator.
Whoops, I'm straying from the point, aren't I? Well, as far as the FF
Multiplayer...yeah! Bring it on! That would RULE!!!

Mmmm multiplayer FFT would be great. I wouldn't mind if the online world was
just a chat room and the game was basically my team vs your team. And I agree
with what we would see happening is alot of Math going on. Specifically
Female wizards with the Math Skill, wearing Ribbons... and the Chantage
permfume, nothin beats Chantage ;) Just think about an all female
chantage+ribbon team... you have to kill them all... in one round! Or they
just right back up and recover... The armor would prolly be a chameleon
robe(absorb holy) or maybe a wizard robe(magic +2). Hmmm or maybe all female
Knights with all the break skills(I'd actually use both Orlandu and Meliadoul
cause they have those great armor breaking attacks), two swords(Chaos
Blade+Excalibur) or maintainence, and math skill with a Ribbon and....
Chantage ;) Also a balanced team might be the best... a team that had maybe
two wizards, and the rest would be healers and warriors, with at least one of
them having only 3 faith(thereby IGNORING all Math attacks. Prolly the healer
who bould be a chemist). It would be an interesting challenge to fight with
other peoples hand picked warriors and see who has the best teams and the
best strategies.

I agree with that. You sould be able to buy a PSX for the same price as
graphics card(and the PSX will last longer too). Not to mention it's
relatively free of glitches, bugs, crashes and constant patching. Agree,
disagree?

>Yeah. FFT is a game that everyone ought to be able to try, not just people
>who had fat enough wallets to afford a PSX.
Hang on...the PSX is MUCH cheaper than your average PC. Well, here in the
UK it is at least (a snip at £99.99). I'm pretty sure it's similar in the
States or Japan or wherever you live.
Two words:
Level Editor
It doesnt crash except for two specific parts or when it cant read the CD.
There has only been two patches, neither of which I downloaded, as for
Glitches I havent found any, same with bugs.
I diagree.

You know not the power of the dark side. I'll say this. If there was a 2
player FFT and your party mentioned started on the board a fair distance
away. You couldn't do anything ;) If you started closer on maybe a flat,
non-obstacled board(I like my teleport) you might make me sweat, but I don't

Final Fantasy Tactics Message Board?
Anyway here's a little Calc help:
They have several catagories: CT, Level, EXP, Height. These are the stats
that the Calc will check when mathemitizing. Next comes the number to check
against: Prime,5,4,3. This will check if the certain stat already chosen can
be divided by this number among anyone in the battle(A prime looks for anyone
with a prime for the particular stat. Some low primes: 2,3,5,7,11,13...
there are many more till 97).
So lets say I choose height, 4, cure. Everyone in the battle at a height of
4 will have cure casted on them. ALSO everyone at height 8 AND 12, 16....will
also be cured. I personally feel Calcs are the most powerful ability in the
game... (at least the ones you can get for normal characters). Learn all
things for the main calc ability, learn some calcuable spells(press select
on a spell, it will say if you can calc it. I HIGHLY recommend the following
spells: Holy(godly), Flare(Pretty freakin awesome aswell), Haste(duh),
Cure3(duh the sequel), Revive2(duh the revenge), heh, and just about any
other spell you can get) then immediatly switch jobs to a Wizard(very high
magic strength, try raising faith to a perm 94 too)... now go kick some ass.
Kill ALLL! You need: CT, 4, Holy, and some holy absorbing armor for all
members of your party. At the beginning of battle choose CT 4 Holy.
Mwuahahahahahahaha...... ;D
Also experiment with a mime/calc tagteam combo... they can kick major
ass(your's too, if you don't watch out). Mimes are so deadly... also mime
Bards and Dancers for some coolness.... Almost forgot, if you haven't
understood a word I said change your Wizard(with calc skill) to auto-battle
"Save fading life". Make your entire team Wiz's with Calc and do this(with a
decnet selection of spells)... it's just TOO MUCH woooooooooo!
