Always stock up on tonics! They are cheap, and effective
when not in battle. Also, steal tents from Imperial
soldiers, it will save you money instead of buying the
tents.

To get the famous experience eggs, go to the Coloseum and
bet the Imp Halberd, when you do this you should be around
level 60, when you win, when fighting with the Imp Halberd,
you should receive an item. You must bet consecutively the
item you win each match. This will eventually get you
the experience egg!

To get the Imp Halberd, you have to fight the creature
Tyranosaur, which hides in the "Dinosaur Forest." The Dino
Forest is located to the East of Gau's father's hous.

When Bannon is in your group, you should take the raft on
the Lete River and when given the option to go up, or left,
you should choose up, and put your config to memory, if you
have a trubo control put it in auto, or if you don't, find
a rubber band and wrap it around the control to stay on.
Have Bannon do Health, leave it for approximately overnight,
and then you should be approximately level 45.

Need the ATMA weapon? This is how to get it: it is in the
cave of the Sealed Gate. You have to hit every switch you
see in the cave to get this awesome weapon that does more
damage when you have a lot more hp. The cave is located next
to the Imperial Camp.

The best place to build up levels is, the forest of Dinosaurs
because everything is harder there. Careful of the
Brachiosaurs, they are extremely dangerous!

At Vector, talk to as many people as you can! the more
soldiers you convince, the better the rewards are, such
as the Empire freeing South Figaro, Doma, and getting you
a key to a room full of treasures!

Want to know a secret? There are hidden characters in FF3!
One is called Umaro. He can be found in the Narshe Mines.
To get him you, must have MOG in your group, then go north
and beat the Ice Dragon, head north from there and kill
Tritoch the Esper. After that, proceed forward into the hole
in the cliff. Go around in the cave for a while, fight Umaro
by taking the Esper from the statue, when you defeat him, he
will join your team!

The other character is called Gogo. You can find him in the
World of Ruin, on Triangle Island. You must must be engulfed
by the Zone Eater, and explore the cave within. Eventually
you will find Gogo and he will join your team.

To get the best shield in the game go to Narshe in the world
of ruin. In the first part of town, next to the relic shop
there are hidden stairs. You just have to look hard enough
and you can see them. Go up those stairs and into the
building. There is a man there that will give you the
Cursed Shield just before dieing. If you win 255 fights
while using the Cursed Shield it will turn into an awsome
shield. Use the Ribbon relic to get rid of the status
changes, except for the clock down to death thing. Try it.

Don't get the Ragnorak esper! Get the sword instead.
The esper only teaches you Ultima and you can get Ultima
from the Cursed Shield, or rather the one it turns into.
The Ragnorak sword can then be turned into the Illumina
Sword by betting the Ragnorak Sword at the collosium. The
Illumina is one of the best swords in the game.

When you are ready to go to Kefta's Tower land your airship
ON-TOP of the tower. You cannot land next to it and walk in.

To find the Economizer go to the forest on the island north
of the Velt in the world of ruin. Stay in the forest and
walk around untill you fight, it will eather be a T-Rex or
a Brachiosaur. If you beat a Brachiosaur you may find an
Economizer after the battle. This takes alot of patience
because the Econimizer may come at any time, your first
fight to your 500th, who knows. The Econimizer makes all
your magic spells cost only 1 MP each time you use them.

To waste unwanted enemies and boss enemies quickly just cast VANISH
on them then cast DOOM or X-ZONE and the enemy or boss enemy will die just
like that. NOTE don't use on boss enemies because it doesn't work on
them.

To earn magic spells quickly in the world of ruin go to the desert
south of MARANDA and bring EDGAR or UMARO there. After a couple of fights
you will battle a being called CACTROT who gives you ten magic points for
using EDGAR'S CHAINSAW on him.

To end the PHANTOM TRAINS reign of pain very quickly use REVIVIFY or
FENIX DOWN on him and he will automatically die. Works well with other
undead like the BEHOMETH in the world of ruin's undead side.

When you first go to S.Figaro, don't pick up any of the chests in the
cave you go through.
Then, after you first get Celes and have to go the other way, pick up
all the chests.
One of the treasures will be the Thunder Rod.
Use this against the TunnelArmr and it will be defeated in one shot!!

Instead of having to go through all of the complicated movements for
Sabin's Blitz's, you can do it a much easier alternate way! For the Aura
Bolt, punch in D,D,F, instead of the sometimes frustrating roll from down
to forward. Most of the Blitz's follow the same sort of pattern. Like for
the Bum Rush, instead of having to do a complete 360 degrees roll starting
from down and moving counterclockwise, you can simply enter
F,F,D,D,B,B,U,U,F!

Get the Esper Ragnarok instead of the sword. This Mike Coleman guy
has no idea what he is talking about. Sure you may learn Ultima from the
cursed shield but keep in mind you'll have to find it and fight with it
for 255 BATTLES! Isn't that a little extreme. You can take off 9999 damage
everytime with the atma weapon if you get your HP high enough. (use the
muscle belt) Not to mention, many swords can take off 9999 if used on the
right guy. Ultima takes off 9999 regardless so the obvious choice is the
esper!

If you want to uncurse the cursed sheild and have some fun
to. give strego the cursed sheild and the cure rod, and if
you have an offering to spare, give it to him. all he does
is spin around and attack you with a cure rod. INSTANT HP
RESTORATION. with the offering he will cure you 4 times.
depending on the level he will cure you for several 1,000
HP. i'm not sure if you can get 2 heal rods, if you can
also give him gengi glove.

When you have the choice to either take the Raganorak Esper or the
sword, you should take the Esper because there is (I haven't confirmed it,
but others have) a secret ending to the game if you find all the
characters (includes saving Shadow), all the Espers, and all of the
Paladin equipment.

On the floating continent after the seen with Kefka and
Gestahl has played through and you have made your escape
don't jump on to the airship straight away, wait for Shadow
who will appear with about five minutes to spare. Later find
Shadow in the Veldt caves and you will automatically return
to Thamasa.Shadow will disappear from his sick bed and can
be found at the Colliseum.If you wager the Striker Dirk
(found only in the dirk caves) you will fight Shadow.If you
beat Shadow he will be in the party for good.Stay at any Inn
with Shadow in the party and there is a 1 in 4 chance that
you will see one of the four scenes about Shadows past.
There is also a 1 in 32 chance that you may see and extra
revealing fifth sequence.

not.
But I know a way that you can have both the Illumina and the Rafnorak
Esper.
Bet the Atma Weapon at the collesium for the illumina. Then you
could have both.

This is a really cool tip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First in the world of
balence get Relm and Gau in your party and go to the veldt. Have Gau leap.
fight a couple more battles until Gau reappears. Then Have Relm paint
Gau.If you did it right you'll get tons of really cool Items. It may take
a couple of times to work. Note:Using this code may cause graphical
errors.

If you did not wait for Shadow, then he is dead and you will
never get him back...however, you can find Relm in the Cave
on the Veldt. After a while she will disappear...go to
Jidoor and go to Owser's house. Fight like a madman through
the place and you'll find Relm and an Esper that teaches you
lots of healing stuff. Take Relm to Kefka's Tower and she
will wake Strago up. Also, Locke can open locked doors in
Narshe, and their is an Exp. Egg in the tomb where you find
the second airship. Plus, I can't get the cursed shield to
change at all, and I think I've fought about 300 battles w/
it. What happens when it changes to the Paladin Shield, and
is their more Paladin stuff? Where is it?

A word of warning for the tip on Relm sketching Gau when he comes
back from his Leap expedition. True, you can get TONS (255 even if
it says
99 I believe) of items, but two other things could happen. 1. ALL
SAVED
GAMES WILL BE DESTROYED 2. EVERYONE DIES
So, if you're willing to gamble, go ahead and be like Setzer, but I
personally don't want to ruin one of the greatest games of all time.

want to gain magic levels very fast in the World of Balance, go to

Remember those pitiful enemies on the Triangle island in WoR that
would die after losing 2 HP without your even hitting them? Well
they're
actually good for something! Equip locke so that he has the THIEF
GLOVE
and the OFFERING, in order for him to steal four times. Next,
encounter
some monsters, preferably in the desert. If you fight the bone
dragon or
something like that, forget it. Encounter Peepers, and you should
steal to
mabye get an Elixir. Encounter Earthguards, and cast Stop on them,
then
kill all the other enemies, then capture. It's tough, but you can
get a
MEGAELIXIR. Very cool. By the way, which is the island you're
supposed to
fight the Gold Dragon on?

Thonk carefully about the colloseum. Not a lot of enemies there
actually exist anywhere else, do they? Well, anywhere else you could
steal
from them. Here it's not so easy. Unless: you go to status and
select
Gogo. Change all three commands to Steal. Equip the THEIF GLOVE and
OFFERING as relics. Equip him with the best kick ass stuff you got.
Now
fight! It works. Albeit you may need to face the enemy a couple
times,
but the item you get isn't necessarily the item you would win from
them.

Kick ass with an imp. Seriously. Get Titanium, Imp Halberd, Tortise
Shield, and Imp armor via tons of stealing and betting at the
coloseum.
Then, when you have all the items, you may notice that equipping them
brings everything up but you defense. Now cast imp on the person
who's
imply decked out. BOOM! Big transformation in the defense and
attack
stats. If you have a rename card, you can name the guy Kappa. NOTE:
It's
best to do this on somebody unimportant like Setzer, Gogo, or
somebody like
that. You can undo the process, but it's a pain to do.

Fly around on the map with your airship in the World Of Ruin.
Eventually you will encounter a enemy. Defeat him and you get an
esper.
Also, in the World Of Ruin fly to the spot where trees make a plus(+)
sign,
and land. Then walk in to the middle tree. There you will find
Banon's
house. Make sure you have Sabin in your party, and Banon will teach
him
the strongest blitz attack!

I have TWO TIPS. 1) to get a genji glove at the begining of
the game practically. When Banon asks Terra to join say no
3 times and instead of a guatlet you recive a Genji Glove.
2)To get the Air Anchor in Fanatics Tower in the first door
to the right of the chest is a hidden switch on the wall.
Exit the room and youll discover a new door.

Okay where do I begin? If you want more Genji gloves use the
Ragnork esper against the samuries.
In South Figaro right after
you get Edgar go to the large house north of the tavern and enter
it. Go to the right and leave out the east door. Outside check
the barrles to get an item then go right then up then go left.
Now you should be behind the house. Push down.
Also in South Figaro after you get Edgar enter the large house
and go upstairs and enter the first door. Inside go behind the
bookshelf and hold left. Follow the stairs down to the basement.
follow along the bookselves and at the first passage leading down
follow it and walk strait into the wall across from it and hold
right. You just got to more relics.
At the scenarios play them in this order if you want shadow at
the Phantom Train......first play Terra's.......then Locke's......
then Sabin's.
On the floating continent when you have the choise of waiting for
Shadow
or jumping wait for Shadow.
When Banon asks you to join the returners say "no" three times to
get the first Genji glove.
In the World of Ruin you can find Umaro in the mines (make sure you
have
Mog in your party) and find Gogo inside the creature on the Triangle
Island
(let it swallow you).

Okay, there seems to be a controversey on whether to get a
Ragnorack Esper or the Ragnorack Sword. I HIGHLY recommend
the Esper.
This is why:
You can steal the Ragnorack from the Goddess!!!! Then you can
learn Ultima from Ragnorack and still be able to turn stuff
into items and use the Ragnorack and Illumina (after
wagering)
Also, anyone need help on this game? I've beaten just about
every RPG including the harder ones like Ultima and Might and
Magic.

a Book of Secrets and a Machinery Guide!

1) Goto the Menu.

3) Put the hand on the Comm. Set.
4) Press the A Button.

The Dino Forest is a great place to gain levels. But there
is a better place!(Make shure you are on maybe level 50+,
know Ultima, and have the Exp. Egg) To the east of the Dino
Forest are some mountains. Use your airship to cross over
these mountains and land. Only take one member in your party
and have them equiped with the Exp. Egg.Walk around until
you get into a fight. If the enemys look like little balls
that are made of green wire immediately use Ulitima. If you
are on level 50+ this should kill them easly. Once you are
rewarded with Exp. It should be very high because you are
the only one in your party and having the Exp. Egg double it.
The reason this is better than the Dino Forest is because
it's faster and the enemys in the Dino Forest are hard!

Here's a killer, there is more than one ending in the game.
The first can be seen by getting all Espers, all magic, and all the
Paladin equipment.
The second is much harder, in the forest north of the Veldt, where
the dinosaur
forest is; fight 4000 (yes, I said 4000!) and you will encounter a
Gold Dragon like the
one in Kefka's Tower. It is very hard, but if you beat it, you will
get an item
called "Resurect." Use it on General Leo's grave and he comes back
to life!
He will join your party, and when you beat the game, the ending will
be different.
Leo saves Shadow, Locke and Celes get married, ect.
Enjoy this tip from the master.

It is possible to beat Chupon in the collusuem!
First have Terra, Locke, or Celes at level 99 with 9999 Hps. Now
equip them with the best armor, use the relics
Offering and Black Belt, and be sure to equip the Atma
Weapon for the person you use. With some luck Chupon
doesn't sneeze you and you get the double hits from your regular
attack and Black Blet attack you can win!!

Have you wanted to get siegfried on your party?
Thought so. Well, to get him, first you must be in the world
of ruin. Do not get either of the secret characters, Gogo
and Umaro. You must get Leo the general (fight 4000 battles
in the dragon forest). When you do this, a gold dragon comes
If you kill him, you get the ressurect. Use this on leo's
grave and he'll join your party. Take Leo by himself and
have him uncurse the paladin shield (255 battles on solitary
island with the cursed shield. Use the ribbon to combat the
effects of the shield.) After uncursing the shield, steal
the cursed sword from the brachosaur (1 in 2000 chance).
Have Leo uncurse it (you must have the paladin shield and
ring (steal the cursed ring from Veteran and uncurse like
shield). Equip shield, ring, and ribbon, along with cursed
sword, and fight 500 battles. The sword will become paladin
sword. Bet this at the coliseum with leo. You will fight
Siegfried. If you win, he'll join your party.
Have fun doing this. It took me approximately 10 playing
hours to fight the gold dragon. I got lucky and stole the
sword 5th try. This trick is worth it, however, as Siegfried
is way strong!!!

Go to the Coloseum and bet a Megalixir.
You will fight Siegfried, He has over
30 000 HP's and uses Hyperdrive.
Beat him up and find out what happens.
Try betting the cursed ring and shield
at the coloseum as well.

Um, I don't remember anyone asking for an extensive list of POSSIBLE FF3
tips. Jesus, what's the point of posting all of them if you don't know
which of them are real? What's the point of posting stuff you could VERY
easily find off the internet or find out yourself? Gosh, I didn't know I
was supposed to remember the script in the opera scene for Celes (yeah,
that's sarcasm). Frankly, you're wasting your time and others' time (No,
