As far as I can tell, the game is purely luck, and it has nothing to do
with what buttons you push. I've beaten Superman once, but I couldn't beat
the Invisible Man. (I got 300 GP though).

Does anyone know anything more...

impossible, it's like paper-rock-scissors where the computer cheats, and the
odds are approximately 4.5 million to one on the invisible man.

Is that that 3D Battler Game in the Gold Saucer you're referring to? Geez I
suck at it. The first opponent (who looks like Jessie) is a wuss and I kick
her butt, then comes the fat guy who appears to be wearing a Bucket on his
head (2nd opponent). I've lost to him on a couple occasions, but I can beat
him. Then comes that #$!@# 3rd opponent, what appears to be a
retro-funky-disco-guy or something. The best I ever did against him was me
getting 3 points. :-(

All for now,

Hey!! Mallow was cool. He actually added a lot to the Super Mario RPGs
storyline, and he was pretty powerful in magic. I actually thought he WAS a
frog too until they revealed he wasn't!! I never guessed he was a cloud
person, but now that I look at it, it was pretty obvious.

You actually bought the frog act!?!? (Sorry, couldn't think of a better
word than "Act".) Anyway, Mallow was a crybaby and a wuss, and his attacks
did barely any damage.

Here's what to do...NEVER PLAY THAT PARYICULAR GOLD SAUCER GAME EVER AGAIN.
Here's the deal, on the first fight, you have 100% chance of winning meaning no
matter what, you'll win. The second fight, you have a 50% chance of winning
meaning it could go either way. The third fight, you have a 25% chance of
winning meaning you *could* beat him, but most of the time you won't. The
fourth fight gives you 0% chance of winning, meaning no matter what the
computer will win. Glad to clear that up.
