I finished Fallout 2 last night, but in the end, I got sad endings for every
place except Modoc and San Francisco, so I have some questions.

I never found out about the raiders. Who tells you where they are located
and/or asks you to eradicate them?

In Vault City, I was asked to give McClure (?) a tape about how the Gecko
power plant has extra power available, so I gave it to him, yet in the end
it still said that Vault City enslaved the ghouls in Gecko.

Is it possible to have a happy ending for Broken Hill? (The game said that
the people there disbanded when the uranium ran out).

Should I kill the slaver in the Den?

Which family in New Reno should I back for a happy ending?

What should I do at Vault 15?

How do I save Tandi? How do I create the best possible outcome for NCR?

Which mining company should I give the chip to in Redding (the first time I
didn't even get the chip, and the town was 'torn apart' by Vault City, New
Reno and NCR. Should I create the Jet antidote?

Is there a way to save the Deathclaws? This time when I played it, I took
Goris with me, and the Enclave snuck in while I was away and killed all the
Deathclaws, but I was then able to give Vault 13 to Tandi.

If there's anything else someone thinks of to aid a 'happy' ending (I tried
to play a completely good character), and appreciate it.

Fight your way through the Bishope family in New reno. in the last safe on the
highest storey, there is a map and a holotape. use the map and you'll gain the
position. Just kill all the raiders.

Either that or Vault city is overrun by the NCr. i haven't been able to get a
good ending. and I must say Vc doesn't deserve one.

Also never found a good ending for BH.

Yeah. In best case, Becky rules the city. You must get franky to buy his alcohol
from becky so that they coorporate.

> Which family in New Reno should I back for a happy ending?

Wright. Just kill all the others. you might do their quests, but most will kost
you karma. much karma.

Get the raiders out of the bunker and make a treaty with the NCR.

> How do I save Tandi? How do I create the best possible outcome for NCR?

Get them the computer parts from Vault 15.

I never got another ending for redding. bad luck for the town, i guess.

If you get to end the game without returning to Vault 13 after fixing the
mainframe, you won't get any ending for it, unless Goris leaves you saying his
pack is in trouble. If you avoid both, obviously the bad thing will happen, but
you won't know about it. Seems you can't save eberyone, no matter what you do.

If Marge leBarge gets the chip, she becomes mayor and they merge with
NCR, which seems to be the best option. However, that is with completed
all the other quests in Redding, including giving the antidote to the
doctor.

What annoys me about that ending is that it claims that I killed the
deathclaws. I suspect a bug in the endgame. I even tried releasing the
deathclaw in Navarro before going to the vault, in case that helped.

Hi

one thing I can add to what others said is that you don't have to work for
any family, I did couple quests for each of them, all you really have to do
is get one of Bishop girls pregnant, that will eventually turn out good for
New Reno

Surprisingly, when I played Reno through with a girl, she somehow got
mrs. Bishop pregnant anyway. I've played through two or three times now,
it's always been she got pregnant. I guess interplay didn't make the
alt. ending to this one very well either.

Still, it's a great ending. My favorite, actually. how cool is it to
have a child and have him turn out to be exactly what reno needs?
