PoK is indifferent to all. Maybe somewhere there is something you can do to
screw that up, but so far I've seen zero reports of people who start KOS, so I
assume you'd have to kill the people IN PoK or do something else in a PoP zone
to manage this. And wouldn't you feel like an ass if you did?

Highly doubt if you CAN kill someone in PoK. I talked to one of the
guards, he said something about weapons and offensive type spells not
working at all in the town. Of course you can still die in there.
There is an elevator in the library, alot of people were falling down
that yesterday.

SOmeone died "in a well" today. He couldn't drag the body but had it targetted. I
went over, used assist to target, rezed him, wasn't paying much attention really.
Wandered around a bit, went back over where he had had been standing... and fell for
20,000 damage. Ah, -that- well (elevator shaft it turns out, just as you mention)

20k damage? So the old "fall to your death" had it's damage upgraded.
10k+ tankers are clearly on the horizon.
As an inky necro, I'm used to running for my life. I conned the guards in
the good section, and they were indifferent. I then hailed one. He told me I
would be welcome within, as long as I treated all with the same respect
accorded me. But I should be wary of any of the portals within, for surely I
could easily be killed reappearing on the other side, where I am likely not
welcome. (phrased differently, but equally charming).
I thanked the guard for the warning, and explored the good section with no
trouble. And I did not have trouble in Tranquility either.

Its all indiff. Essentially there really is no evil or good side, the
good size will just diss you while the evil will diss you if you are
good. Evidently this may only prevent some quests.
One thing that bothered me was that it is not your "alignment"
in ways that I thought it was. It seems to instead just be the
stereotype alignment of your race/class/diety. I thought perhaps since
my dark elf cleric has max allied with so many good factions at least
some of the good npcs would comment on it being good, but no.
POK is totally non combat/non kos. You can't accidently attack or cast
on an npc, nor will any attack you. Its kind of like "supression gas"
idea in Anarchy Online ;)

Oh great, now I have to test this out.
