I was at E3 this year and had a great time. I was having coffee when I
ran into the guy that was running the Sony booth the people that make
everquest and also the game that is coming out called Star Wars
Galaxies. I mentioned that I play the Sims online. This is what he
said to me. If you think that game is botched in some way you should
see Star Wars Galaxies the game is ready to be released the only
problem is they can't keep highlevel players from killing younger ones
sony is reluctant to release the game until this is worked out because
it will be utter chao's. and will turn many people off the game with
no form of control. So if I was you buddy I would stick with the sims
on-line. or everquest its a decent product but i have to tell you my
personal feelings are that star wars galaxies is going to be a major
disapointment I think people are expecting too much. I found this
interesting anyway so I thanked him for talking with me and he gave me
a handful of nvidia mints he was a nice guy though but I thought that
was an interesting statement.

Since there's no FFA PVP in SWG, *and* you can only target "overts" or
people who have gained a TEF somehow, *and* since there's no "levels"
in the game, I call "bullshit".
In fact, the main complaint on the discussion boards for SWG is from
the usual hack&slash fanatics who whine the game will be too
"carebear", precisely because they *can't* just open fire on any
newbie they see.
So, I call "double secret bullshit".

LMAO .... uh huh. I was at E3 too and had sex with the Lara Croft
model right in the booth!!! Well ok - my story is as likely as yours.
Should have stuck with just one or another of the two posts, you would have
scored higher.

As a beta tester for SWG, I can say without breaking the NDA, that
this is a complete and utter falsehood.

After looking at the statement and what you said to him, I think he
was making fun of you, to your face. From what I have seen and heard
about Sims Online, is that it is lame. He probably thought after you
said this that "what rube", and got his jollies off on messing with
you. Sometimes the most sinister thing you can be, is outwardly nice.
Troy
Ahh yes. Sinister, but stupid.
Very true.
How were the mints?
You forgot to mention that the model turned out to be none other than
Angelina Jolie, getting in character for filming another sequel.

You better waqtch it, Bud. That's my wife you're talking about. She was
not preparing for a sequel. Just having sex with strangers. I wish you
would stop spreading rumors.
Stop living in the past, man... She divorced you almost a year ago!

Then I guess he qualifies for the free sex!
