A few items I respectfully submit to Verant for
consideration. Your thoughts, please.

Pipe of Tarsien (aka the Crack Pipe)
Graphic is a long-stemmed meerchaum pipe of a
grinning gargoyle. Casters of any type could hold
this in either hand and slightly speed up mana
regeneration. It would not be as fast as breeze,
but still better than nothing. The effect would
stack with other mana-regeneration effects.

Portable Hole
This 1-slot container would weigh 0.1 stone, hold
giant items and give 100% weight reduction. Quest
only, or possibly crafted with tailoring skill
around 130 and using a to-be-added wizard/mage
spell Convert Mana (16th level, 300 mana cost,
produces a vial of Converted Mana.)

First Aid Kit
Using the same principle as the Harvest Crystal,
this non-stacking gem could be clicked to generate
1 stack of bandages. Available for sale at potion
shops around Norrath and rare drops from the likes
of Orc Medics. Full Kits could produce up to 10
stacks of bandages and would weigh 1 stone.

Rune of Fleeing
This lore rune would teleport the caster to a
random druid ring. The destination would be
determined only after the rune has been invoked.
Very rare drop from uncommon 30-ish level mobs (as
opposed to a common drop from very rare spawns.)
One-use only. Possibly, a multi-use Rune of
Ultimate Fleeing might be a very rare drop from
one of the deities on the Plane of Growth.
Specific destinations might also be available
(Rune of Butcher, Rune of Toxxulia, Rune of Ro,
etc) as rare drops from higher level mobs.

Would be nice but only acceptable if it didn't stack. It would be too easyt
to get the bard song, breeze and this going with no down time.

Doesn't the mages dimensional pocket do this already with 6 slots?

Nice idea shouldn't be hard to do, of course why not just drop bandages?

Never happen what they should do is open up alchemy to make more potions
that do this. I know they have one to port to Halas but thats it, right?

The bard song already stacks with breeze/clarity. This is an added bonus. An
extra one or two mana per tick would not really be a noticeable increase with
the other stuff, but WOULD be immensely useful for soloing non-enchanters.

Dimensional pockets are nice... if you don't mind the risk of a no-rent
container. Portable holes would be permanent. A 1-slot container might not seem
useful, but it *would* effectively nullify the weight of a heavy item (a monk
carrying a fine steel breastplate and still able to take the hits? Whoda thunk
it!)

Again, I'm looking at the monks who feel they were unfairly nerfed with recent
changes. A full First Aid Kit would cost a bit more than 10 stacks of bandages
but would take up only one slot, not 10. Perhaps the Medics and other mobs
*should* commonly drop bandages with a first aid kit being a rare or very rare
drop.

It's not Halas but... Thurgaren? Still, the idea of anyone having access to an
emergency evac even if their druid or wizard gets kill would be useful in raids.
Of course, you don't want to be an evil race with one or worse, flee and have
your warrior end up in Butcherblock when the rest of your party reassembles in
South Ro and getting one for each group member *should* be several not
insignificant undertakings. An alternative (given that I place these as runes)
would be going to a random wizard ring, rather than druid.

It would be cool if it also gave SoW, HP Regen and had an unlimited
charges of Bind for non-casters and, oh well, Gate as well.

Aemm... well, I think everybody would love to see more mana regen
items, but that's just another part of the "class envy" question.
