Iksar Starting Ground

I've started a Iksar Shammie, and I'm wondering after I think leveling to
eight or so to get Meditate that my Iksar would hit the cool Cruel world of
building factions with other races.
Where is the best place to take a Iksar Shammie to group with others and
build faction quickly? Preferably near a Shammie guild which is willing to
train a wayward Iksar, would be ideal. Everyone's 2cp is welcomed, thanks.
One more question too how many kills does it usually take to build faction
up a level with the Guards and Vendors of town, so that you can buy and sell
and enter the city?

Well it took about 1000 Gnolls to go shopping in Qeynos. And heard about
same amouth of Orc in FP. So as Iksar get used to stay near Cabalis or
venture later to Luclin or Velious. Evreythnig else is hard. Besides FoB and
go into Kurns Tower is great starting then loio in my opinion.

The best place to start would be right there in Field of Bone.
There is a human bandit camp there, in the northwest part of the
zone if memory serves. Killing these should raise faction with
Qeynos and Highpass guards.

Well, the other shaman guilds on Norrath, outside Kunark, are in
Halas, Oggok, and Grobb -- three cities where faction building is
extremely difficult if not impossible in some cases.

If you have the SoL expansion, Shar Vahl and Shadowhaven are much
more viable options, probably requiring little or no faction work.
I am not sure about Iksar acceptance in those cities, but they
seem to tolerate most everyone.

I don't think there is a human bandit camp in FoB. There is sometimes a
solitary human bandit near the Warsliks Woods zone.
