TIA
If you need one right away, buy a combine.
If you can make yourself wait, head over to Halas and start trying for
your langseauxs

Buy a pair of Langseaxes, they'll cost you around 20 pp each, every
warrior should have a pair. Use the rest of your money on good armour.
Are Langseaxes that good. I have never seen one for sale yet, but I might
have just missed it as I am mostly hunting in Gfay and CB. I am only 9th
and am using a Balanced Shan 'Tok thats 8/39. Is this a good weapon for
this level, or should I be looking for a better weapon. All my other chars
have been casters, and so I dont really know much about weapons that a
warrior can use.

By level 14 my warrior was dual wielding langseaxes and haven't regretted it
yet. Got my DW and Double Attack maxed out in fairly short order, and the speed
and amount of damage I'm doing with them, plus the taunt factor, is really
working. Of course, even with a critical hit they never do a single shot
equivalent to a crit from my crystallized two hander, but they swing so much
more often I dont' think it matters. They are fairly cheap, and easy to find
being auctioned in E.Commons or Feymart on my server. It's a pretty good
choice if you don't have ubertwinkcash.

I wouldn't go buy a combine sword unless getting a magic weapon was
*urgent*. If you're near an auction zone, look around for stuff like a
langseax (even if doing the quest later can be fun, the 1h can be
bought for 20-30 pp and is an excellent weapon for the price) or
velium weapons (not often auctioned since most people seem to sell
them to vendors) You might also be able to get a silvery war axe or
polished granite tomahawk for your savings.

The Shan Tok is much better than what I was using at level 9. I was
still using a Rusty Two Handed Sword (9 50), then at level 10 I
upgraded to a Fine Steel Two Handed Sword (12 43).
It really depends on how much you can afford, but for teens/twenties,
a warrior cannot go wrong with Langseaxes (6 23). To compare, the Shan
Tok usually does 17 damage every 3.9 seconds, or 4.3 damage per
second. The Langseax does 13 damage every 2.3 seconds, or 5.7 damage
per second. That's a pretty big jump in damage output, and the
Langseax is magical for wisps. Also, due to it's speed, you gain skill
increases pretty quickly.
The Langseax is a quest that involves running from Halas to Western
Karana and back, so they might be hard to find in your area. If you
are selling Orc Belts and Sholderpads, you might have enough pp to buy
a Dragoon Dirk, it's also 6 23, with a bonus to dex and vs. magic (I
still keep one in my ranged slot at level 38). They sell for 50-100
pp, usually around 80. Since it drops in Crushbone though, you can
usually get it on the cheaper end. Otherwise, it might make for an
interesting trip to travel to the Qeynos/Blackburrow area and try to
buy one there.
