Step one: Get some charisma gear.
Step two: Head home to EVERFROST.
1. Everfrost mammoth, if you can find them, are easy at your level
even without a healer. They drop tusks that sell for just over 10
plat each in Halas, so they are often hunted. There's a merchant in
the zone but his prices aren't as good as in Halas.
2. Spiders are the place holders for mammoth, so you may get some
silks killing the spiders to spawn mammoths; silks sell well in the
bazaar on most servers.
3. In that zone also is Martar Icebear; he drops a Cloak of the
Icebear with +20 cold resistance. When a Vox raid is forming is an
excellent time to sell one, or to wear it and join the fun. Check the
merchant price before selling to players though because I can't
remember what the npc's pay, but they paid decently. No faction hit
for killing Martar and the cloak is not lore.
4. With a healer you can take on the Ice Giants outside Permafrost.
They drop lots of coin, various gems, and fine steel weapons.
Depending on your gear, you may be able to take these solo but you'd
better have LOTS of bandages; giants hit hard.
5. Rarely, you will see Karg Icebear. He gives a quest for a werewolf
skin cloak and despawns whenever someone does the quest. If you kill
him, he sometimes drops a two-handed sword. I'm not sure of the
faction hits on killing Karg. I think the sword is lore but I'm not
sure about that.

First thing's first: LINE BREAKS!!!!!
Anyway, good loot ain't gonna come through soloing, sorry. Especially
as a warrior.

That is true I'm afraid, however I can recommend an excellent place to take
a healer-type partner: Dulak's. My 52 beastlord has made almost 2,000 plat
in less than a level clearing the first 2 or 3 boats there (all db or lb to
me). The mobs drop a few plat each, and weapons that sell for 1 to 3 plat
each, but the real payoff is the gems they drop: those sell for anywhere
from 55 to 220 (!) plat apiece. Blue diamonds are the 220 ones. There are
vendors and a bank at the Gunthak lighthouse.
There is some competition for the boat camps but its not as bad as Rathe in
that regard. And be advised that the boats at the docks get harder in order
one through five -- you and a partner will have a hard time with the 4th one
and the 5th one really won't be safe for you. The mobs don't get tougher,
but they get more numerous so by the 4th boat you really can't single-pull
at all.
Try south Ro -
1. Sand Giants; I can kill 'em at 42 (barely). Drop essence of sunlight.
250pp - 300pp in bazaar.
2. While waiting on Sand Giants, kill the spiders. Spider silk goes for
7pp each in bazaar. Sewing kit + 2 silks = 1 silk swatch which I can sell
for 25pp each.
3. After you kill all the spiders, the Terrorantula will spawn.
Terrorantula silk goes for 50 - 75pp each in bazaar.
On your way to South Ro, check the gypsy vendors in Oasis of Marr. I've
been buying essence of sunlight there for 7pp or so and re-selling for
275pp...
I made around 2,500pp farming a few hours last Saturday morning then sitting
in bazaar the rest of the afternoon.
Of course, this is on Karana, so YMMV.
Warriors don't farm that well. At 52 my advice would be twofold:
1) level up if you can
2) find a guild who is starting to raid and looking for warriors, they
may hire you and start gearing you up. I know our two 50's warriors are
about to get a *load* of gear dumped on them.

I'm pretty sure that the is no Placeholder for the mammoths, or at
least for the two mammoths at the north end of the zone. From what I
could tell last time I hunted there (about a year ago with a ranger),
a new mammoth was guaranteed to pop as soon as I killed the last one.
Spawn point seemed to be random but always reasonably close to the Y
in the river.
You're right about the money though, my ranger spent lvl 30 there and
got about 1000p.
