lvl 9 Ranger in Qeynos: Where can I find a Minotaur Axe?

Where can I find a Minotaur Axe , and if I buy it from a player, what
is a reasonable price?

Minotaur axes have become difficult to find in Qeynos, as you know. In
phase 4, I bought one from a player a BB for 5 plat. That appears to
still be a fair price. Whenever I see another player with one now, I ask
where he/she got it. They always seem to act like it's a secret or
something...("you can find them in dungeons"..etc.) No shit.
Minotaur Battle Axes are only found on higher level NPCs so only higher
level Players will get them as loot. I suggest this: Go into North or
even East Karanas (just across the zone border) and do an "/Auction" asking
for one. There will be higher level players there who just might be willing
to come to you to sell one. No guarantee, but it's better than waiting in
Qeynos.

Beholder maze and Steamfont. The fair price varies depending on
the proximity to the mino axe sources. You can pick one up as low
as 4pp right where you can find mino axe. Further away, expect to
pay as high as 10. Above 10, you're getting ripped off.

Bah, my fairly low level character (10 at the time) picked up 3 of
them in the minotaur mines on Faydwer over one weekend of intermittent
play. I just sell mine to this one merchant in Felwithe (for almost
4pp), who then turns around and tries to sell it for some INSANE
amount. On Faydwer, they sell for 4pp almost every time, not a copper
more.

If you buy them near the source, yea they're cheap... but out in Qeynos area
people pay 6-8 plat for them. Of course, the same is true the other way
around.... as I'm about to come to the other isle (Feydwyr is it? can't
spell that word <g>) with 8 polarbear cloaks from Karg and a buncha
blackburrow and snakeskin armor to sell for OUTRAGEOUS prices! Well, not
really... I'll sell the cloaks for about 10 plat at the most... not bad for
ac 5 cloak with +15 vs cold protection that anyone can wear.

My son, the travel guide :-), buys blacksmithing supplies in Butcherblok,
mino axes in steamfont, and sells them in Qeynos. He then buys bear pelts in
Halas and makes large patchwork and runs it back to Faydwer to sell to all
the immigrant barbarians.
