Lvl 24 magician pets help
LS
are available in shop (besides the earth one). Are they all wrong or am
I just unlucky? Would any kind soul please tell me if and where may I
find them?

easiest).
It only took me till level 26 to research all mine, the
components you can get by killing mobs that will give you
experience. Don't waste a day travelling from Erudin to
Akanon stopping by at all cities to look like I did :)

Oh yeah, like I'm going to kill druids and remove half the ability to get a
teleport. :p Druids are friendlier than Wizzies when it comes to getting
rides (well, Mal will disagree, but I know what his opinion about druids is
worth)...I'd rather not be KOS when I get to my destination.
I haven't started researching yet...when you research something, do you get
a scroll to memorize once you complete the research, or is the spell
suddenly in your spellbook?

Level 16 Air is only available via research, and that's my favorite pet. :(

I know these are in Freeport Arcane Sciences, have not checked other
magician guilds, but
would assume they would be there. The Water and Fire 24 level pets are
research only, as well as the Everfount spell. You need to either have
another mage research or do the research yourself.

Unless they changed it, *all* the level 16 and 20 Magician pets can be purchased
from the High Elf in the Ocean of Tears. They might have changed it since I
last checked.

There is some enchanter spell that the OOT Elf sells where you would expect
the 16 air pet to show up in her list. Bug?

Unfortunately allot of the pet spells have been removed. At level 20
you can only get the water pet, at level 24 you can only get the earth
pet. Seems like they give in one area (improve burnout, stop pets
taking group exp, pet roots/stuns) and damage in another area, i.e. we
have to research 3 pets per spell level not 2.
I've found some good research sites that list all the right
ingredients but I've never found one that tells me where to get them.
I'm now level 25 and have never seen words of dominion, words of
dimension, words of transcendence and a fair few of the other
ingredients.
Can anyone give me some pointers please?

I was able to get all 20th level spells except for air elemental, and
all but water elemental for 24th. Between the local mages guilds, the
libraries in Ak'Anon and Erudin, and the lady in OOT (1st island west
of Kerra) I've so far had no need of research, and been able to
purchase nearly all my spells.
