Big patch yesterday, with a big list of changes in it. They missed
quite a few things, though, it would seem. From AllaKhazam's website
at http://everquest.gamestats.com/ --

o There is now a monster called Shadow Man, a 20-ish necro creature
that inhabits many of the mid-level outdoor areas. They carry shadowed
weapons, which are warrior-only magical weapons. This gives warriors
easy access to magic weapons, which is something people have complained
about.

o The Glowing Stein is finally the Stein of Moggok. It actually
appears to be a much better item, but the quest is much harder to finish.

o The missing tailoring patterns (shoulders, mask, belt, cape,
and wrists, if I recall correctly) are being reported on some vendors.
It may finally be possible to create a full set of patchwork armor.

o There is now a ranger guildmaster in Kithicor. No more long trips
for Rangers to Surefall or Kelethin to train.

o There are several new items and several new quests, and several
old quest items have been turned into no-drop items.

All of these changes, to my mind, are improvements -- some of them
long overdue. This was a *great* patch. Hope we have one a month like
this. :)

nobody needs it? how about low level druids? how about low level anyone? or
perhaps that monk who wishes to supplement a few cloth items? there is
always a need for this sort of thing. sheesh. some people wish to complain
about everything and anything. just enjoy the game, or go find something
else to do.

Check the merchants outside of Ogguk; that's the first
place I saw a merchant selling all of the fletching
supplies outside of Kelethin or Surefall Glade after the
patch.
