Someone said that they tailored large bone armor by putting
20 bonechips and a pattern together, but I haven't
confirmed it. If this is so, then the silk armor is
probably created by putting spiderling or spider silk with
a pattern. Who knows what else might be available if these
are true. :)

1. Put 2 spider silk in tailor kit then combine.
2. This will result in a silk swatch.
3. Take this and then combine with pattern of your choice.
4. You need 2 swatches for leggings and tunic.
5. You will then end up with some silk raw armour.

over a hundred platinum pieces yesterday upping my smithing skill and TRYING
to raise my tailoring. I can NOT make re-enforced leather yet, though I
dropped apx 30 platinum pieces in 10 attempts at a tunic. I'm a druid and I
really want a re-enforced tunic. Anyway, in these 10 attempts I got zero
successes and one skill raise from 27 to 28. Studded I have a very high
succes rate with but medium pelts are hard to find and the damn if studded
is not EXACTLY the same as my leather in all but the name. Also, the
directions for the studded tunic in the tailoring book are wrong wrong
wrong. When you combine the ingrediants it lists you get the "did not
combine" message.
Where did you get this info on silk armor? And please tell me anything else

I think the bone chip recipie was a prank, I tried a couple different
things with chips, including the recipie posted on the stratics site,
nothing worked.
The silk trivs out at 37 is what I'm hearing. I'm at 33 now, and succeed
80% of the time on the silk armor.

You want to keep makeing studded masks(only take one stud) untill they
are trivial. Once studded is trivial then try renforced.

charisma so cost was minimized. However, it still cost
approximately 1500 pp to train to master the craft. Silk
will be a good way to get to skill of 39 now relatively
cheaply, after that however, expect to start paying the big
bucks.
Since silk is going to be so easy to make, i would expect
it to start selling in force this weekend for about 1 to 2
pp per piece, so don't expect to make a fortune off of the
trade. Everyone is going to be a silk tailor just as almost
everyone became a patchwork tailor.
