Do a Cross Server Population of a New Server!

Im glad im not on Fennin Ro.
I saw 2100 people on it last weekend.
Man thats gotta fucking suck.
I mean its the same thing on my server as well, just not as bad. 1800
is a typical number on Bristlebain evenings.
Invest 3 weeks in your 30th level character and then have to fight
tooth and nail just for a spawn to fight. As I've said over and over
the biggest hurdle in EQ is not the monsters or game bugs, its
competing with other players. Regardless of what verant thinks, class
balance on NON PVP servers is just as hot an issue because the more
effecient your class is at killing a mob the easier it is to level on
the crowded servers.

Now if it were ME, the next 2 servers I brought up would be a cross
population of all the other servers. Allow a server change to relieve
the aging populations on the older servers.

Start with level 50 - 40 on all the servers. Allow x number of people
(first come first serve) to goto the new server.
Then allow x number of 40 - 30, then x number of 30 - 20 and then cut
it off there.
Then open up the server to new characters.

You will still have the same number of characters on the new and old
server, just the level distribution will be a little more diverse.
I dont have a character on Fennin Ro but I can imagine what the aviak
and oasis zones must be like with mostly 20 -25th level characters.
Eeeeeesh.

Ahhh well maybe they will do this. Last time I bitched and whined till
they implemented group aggregate damage like a bunch of other people.
And if you are reading this Brad, get back to fucking work and stop
surfing newsgroups all day.
