I've been getting some weird keyboard behavior ever since I installed a
new ATI Radeon 9800 Pro videocard in favor of an older GeForce4 ti 4200.

Shift+up/down arrows won't recall command history, shift+pgup/pgdn won't
scroll in the chat buffer, arrow keys won't move me whilst im autorunning
with NumLock.

The keys on the number pad do work, but I'm used to the separate clusters
of arrow and pgup/pgdn keys.

I haven't extensively tested the behavior of these keys outside of
Everquest; they seem to be behaving normally.

Any ideas?

No clue at all, I upgraded from an fx5200 to the Radeon 9800 Pro, and had
no issues like that at all.

This happened to me with the Catalyst 4.4 drivers I believe. (And only
in EQ.)

Download the newest Catalyst drivers, uninstall your current drivers and
reboot, then install the newest Catalyst drivers.

Personally I use the Omega version of the Catalyst drivers, found at
http://www.omegadrivers.net/

That should fix your keyboard problem. If not, then dunno :p

Do you see ATi icon in the tray? Kill it before running EQ and see if
that makes a difference.
