glance, I would appreciate some pros and cons to what I have.

Just a note, I am planning on replacing the Finely Crafted Velium Ring
with another Velium Fire Wedding Ring and the Cougar Claw Earring with
another Black Sapphire Electrum Earring.
Also I have toyed with the Idea of using the Horns of Disciple instead
of the Trance stick, but keep it for 1hb skill.

one thing that sticks out to me, it try to save up for silver chitin
handwraps, 23%haste(iirc) and some ac and decent stats to replace the gem
inlaid gaunts and fbsss with a spider fur belt. if you sell the fbss you
should only need to come up with about 1-2k dependsing on your server, for
SCHW
and, the SF belt runs between 50 and 250pp again depending on your server.
those are the only two things that stick out to me, and i played a monk till
55, something else you may want to do is, head to the maidens eye(if you
have Luclin) and sit at the Zone in FDed and every 5-10minutes /ooc in a
nice manner that your looking to loot a goranaga spiked club thats going to
otherwise rot. usually people are more than happy to let ya loot as long as
you dont train them :) and its 12/23 and some stats at all, its nothing to
sneeze at thats for sure

What sort of money do we have to play with, how much weight do you have
to use? Comparing with my monk twink, these are the areas I see as being
projects:
Shoulders: Acrylia Reinforced Mantle has nice AC, and STA/HPs.
Back: there's a few cloaks out there with a ton of +HPs, like Shimmering
Terror Hide. They're mostly down in the 1 K or less range, too. Go to the
Bazaar and do a monk, back, HPs search.
Weapons: my monk is using the freebie Goranga club from Maiden's Eye (No
Drop, ask politely if you can loot one from a group killing them) and a SoS
offhand. At the very least you should look into the SoS for offhand - at
17/28 it's hard to beat for sheer damage and for aggro control.
Everything else looks about par for the course. I don't like that neck
item much for the low AC, but the HPs are good and you can put off the
upgrade there.

Eeep, so weight is about capped. That changes things! I'd suggest moving
to a Reinforced Acrylia Mantle, a Shimmering Terror Hide Cloak, and another
Electrum Black Sapphire earring from the Cougar Claw. That should be fairly
weight-neutral and come in under 2 K while upping HPs by nearly 100. What
are you carrying in inventory that weighs in at 7 pounds? Might be better to
put off the gear upgrade and go for something like a Rallic Pack, which
would buy you the weight to be able to move to weapons like an SoS.

At current I am carrying some food/water, a bamboo bo stick, Knuckle
Duster, Greater Lightstone, Sow Potion and some bandages all in a
handmade backpack for the 10% weight reduction, however I am just
waiting on my owlbear pelt so I can make my rallic pack as I already
have the pattern. A question on the rallic pack, I had heard that they
removed the tailloriing skill check when making it? Is this true, or
do you need a certain level in tailloring to make it?
