Where do I get more liquids? I was told I'm running low on drink.
After running around Kaladim for a bit, I found someone selling honey
mead. That's a drink, right? So I bought it. Hmmm. Still getting 'low
on drink' messages. I right-clicked on it. I was told it was
refreshing. Ah, no problem. Except...I am STILL getting 'low on drink'
messages!
Sigh. Clearly, Honey Mead isn't the answer. But what is, and where do
they sell it?

I could live with that. :) Sort of like Ogres and Trolls supposedly being able
to eat raw meats besides "Chunk of Meat." (Any race can eat a chunk of meat,
only an ogre or troll will eat raw Mammoth Meat.)

Ah. Thanks. I though that would be it, I guess I just haven't found a
merchant selling water yet...

Go to a merchant and buy water and food. Just put it in a pack and
you will automatically use it when you need it. You can stack 20 at a
time. When you right click on alcohol, you run the risk of losing
stats in the beginning.

Can they?
By the way, if you want to be able to eat rat, wolf, bear or mammoth
meat, buy a spit (3gp or so), and some bread. Instant rat sandwiches
to amaze (and disgust) your friends!
I don't know if the food value of sandwiches is any greater than the
bread (though I'd hope so). Mammoth meat makes about 5 sandwiches per
chunk, which is nice.

Water or milk is what you need -- just put it in your
inventory and that will solve the problem. Eating and
drinking are automatic if you have food and drink ( non
acholic) in you inventory.

It's not, but it's still fun.

No one sells muffins in Kaladim or, as near as I could tell,
anywhere in faydwer.
In Kaladim the merchant standing outside the cleric guild in
North Kaladim sells rations, milk and water.
In Butcherblock the high elf standing by the boat docks and the
high elf in the first hut to the left of the kaladim gate also
sell food and drink.

Well, I started a dwarf cleric, a wood elf ranger, and then
re-started my dwarf cleric with better stats and a different
personality (the new one is a bit of a jerk, odd that.)
The things to remember about faydwer are:
there are a lot of jerks
there are a lot of idiots
there is a lot of fun stuff to do.
Places to avoid:
the newbie zone near kelethin
crushbone on the weekend (my new theory)
the /ooc conversations in Butcherblock
named mobs in crushbone
Useful places:
the newbie zones in butcherblock
the newbie zone near Kelwithe
orc hill for fast experience
steamfront for a pretty view
the kelethin market for buying and selling
crushbone to hunt for experience.
I have not spent enough time in unrest to have an opinion yet,
other than that the layout of the area around the gazebo (like
the derailment bridge in blackburrow) absolutely kills my
frame-rate and system response time.
I spent some time in east commons and north ro, and did not
care for them much.
I love blackburrow - great fun and better people than
crushbone. perhaps because everyone knows that they can all
die from a bad train.

Hmm, I have only spent a little while in Rivervale, either
passing through with my Ranger (hunted Misty for an hour or so
at level 12) or with my Halfling warrior on one of the new
servers. It seemed like a crossroads zone.
