wander is just about all you can do in Second Life. Other than look at
people's houses (woopee *yawn*) and chat. I could chat with strangers on
yahoo chat if I'm that desparate. There's not much point to it, there's
nothing to kill, no questing, no "game" to it. No reason to have that
dreck taking up space on my computer.

I had a look too - VERY unimpressed. I'd rather paint a wall and
watch it dry.

Actually you can create your own scripted content anything from vehicles
to fireworks. If you want hack and slash got to WOW or some other game.
You have to WANT to create content. If you take time to look around and
read the site you will get the idea. It is FREE for a basic account so
you got nothing to lose.

last march i went to a party in san fran hosted by the second life crowd,
and the party i was at was reproduced in-game, or the real life party was
meant to follow the in-game content...i don't remember (or believe i ever
knew) which way it was, but it made for an interesting conversation piece

so did the fact that one of the company's higher ups' wife went around
hitting on lots of the software geeks and then making them look stupid by
flirting with her husband

but it was free alcohol, that's why people were there...that's what i tell
myself, because second lifers are worse than the worst of eq players =P

wow this is pointless thread
