I have a question with regards to rogue poisons. I have read that General
V'Ghera is weak to rogue poisons and I am wondering which poisons I should
try and make/use?
I figure that I can pass some out to the rogues there helping and maybe have
them do a wee bit more damage than normal.
Lannella, I am posting this here because I switched comps and lost my
safehouse password. I will try and dig it up but if you could help with the
poison info, I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Bad news-- I'm not Epic and don't expect to be for a while, so I've not
researched those details of the quest yet.
Good news--You don't need the password for the Cellar to get into the rest
of the Safehouse. Back Alley / Quests / Laboratory are all open to the
public.
Good luck - let us know how it goes.

The only poison that I ever tried on him was for my main's guildee, and the
poison was actually made by my alt rogue (main has like 48 skill and alt
has 227 poison skill) was the one with two Heartsting venom sacs from
scorpions in Field of Bone. It's a root + 60% slow or something, and I got
it to stick twice during the fight (lasts more than a minute, IIRC).
My new favorite is Soul Burn, though...2 semi-rare drops off of Scorpion
men in the Overthere and I've had it hit for 425 DD before. I was too
scared to use it on the General raid, though, simply because opening
with a 1100 double backstab (which is rare, especially on opening attack...
but it HAS happened) followed by a 400+ poison nuke would equal one
quickly dead rogue :-). And it's still not trivial at 227 skill.
It's fun to use on Sand Giants, though...
:-)

Interesting, was he slowed that much? [1] When you hear of mobs being
immune to slow, I always thought that meant "By all means". We could
always sacrifice a few Shamans for a lau^W^W^ comparison.

What he said. [2]
Good luck Orlun, personally I went from an Eyerazzia and an FBSS back
when I got mine. The all-around improvement was nothing short of
astonishing, and now I need an even bigger stick to beat off inspectors.
[1] He's a killing machine, especially when dual-wielding.
[2] I've heard good things about big, highly MR mobs being snared with
the use of poisons though.

He was most definately rooted, and although I didn't run a log
that night, he was definately hitting slower. Also, this was months
ago, before the patch that made mobs able to be totally immune
to some spells while being affected by others. So it may not work
now, although like I said, it not only worked once, but after it broke,
I was able to reapply it and have it stick again. It definately made
a difference in the fight.
If anyone has any more tips on how to help Orlun draw aggro on the
general, please post them in this thread. I won't be MA on this attack
(Thank god!) but I'll be up in his face. I'm willing to take a shot at
learning to backstab if the General wants to go whack on Orlun for a
while.
;-)
So, what's this guy hit for anyway?

Maybe we're thinking of different things, but shouldn't Orlun _NOT_
be drawing aggro...in pretty much any fight?

250-300, FAST quads. I mean, fast. Like he's
wearing a Cloak of Flames fast or something
;-). He IS slowable (or at least he was up to a
few months ago..haven't tried again in a long
while), but this was also not via spell, it was via
rogue-made master-level poison. He lifetaps,
he harm touches, and he summons.
Did I mention he hits fast?

Oh good. I'd only died once so far this week (rushing to Ragefire raid
last night) and I was falling behind on my quota.
