hmm NM looked at the Magelo, lvl 52 monk

Beats me how a lvl 52 monk with 3.5khp has a DPS sufficient enough to beat
naggy 32khp before Naggy DPS goes through his maybe 5khp max buffed.

Nope an uber twinked level 52 monk
I guess that he had a full set of level 65 buffs before he went in, but
still awesome.

Apparently, he also used wort potions (300hp regen), I believe.

He explains it all on the server boards. http://www.vazaelle.com in the "General
Discussion" forum.

yeah awesome, but still shady imo.
Notice how he doesn't show the group window in his UI.

In the movie there is clearly someone else there, unless there are white
bears spawning around naggy. Not saying he didn't do it solo, just that
at least for the movie version, there was someone else there.

Awful lot of spellcasting going on from the cameraman, too.

There's a big long thread about it on the Vazaelle server boards. For your
convenience:

http://makeashorterlink.com/?H24B156E4

Pretty interesting to see everyone's take on it, and I have to agree with
one of the posters that EQ players are probably the most untrusting folks in
the world :-) I believe he solo'd in the sense that no one else was hitting
or tanking the mob. I think it's possible he had outside healing, and he
certainly had a mega-DS. He posted somewhere that his monk's dps is around
45, but with a big DS that could go up to 75 easily enough. He also used
Stinging Wort potions (300hp heal). So I guess it really depends on the
definition of soloing. He didn't make the potions or cast the buffs on
himself, but if he was the only one hitting the mob, I would say he solo'd
it.

They were grouped for communication purposes. The cameraman (the white bear) was
taking AE hits and even got feared at one point. He's also over level 52
(obviously) and would have gotten banished if he had gotten on Naggy's aggro
list for any reason.
