shaman spells spirit of puma and spirit of jaguar

hello i have not played EQ in a while and wwant to start playig my 57
lvl shaman again.
what are these spells, wahat ddo they dfo and buying with
crystalSs????? whats that all about, dont or cant u use platnum to buy
them?

what do these spil;s spirit of jaguar, pumea do?it soesnt say much
about them on the websites.

what else do you buy with crystals, are they replacing pp?

Note: This group doesn't get read much; most discussion takes place in
the main group, alt.games.everquest.

The crystals are part of the latest expansion, Dragons of Norrath.
Players do "missions" and get paid in crystals, which can be used
to purchase stuff at special merchants. Crystals can be traded/sold
between players. Platinum is still used for other transactions.

I don't know specifically what the new Shaman spells do, but you can
probably find out about them at, say, everquest.allakhazam.com.
