Not much. You can see the most recent developments on the EAG website at
http://www.eamonag.org/whatsnew.htm.

I did have an author contact me a few months ago who was interested in
getting started. I gave him a few pointers but I haven't heard back from
him.

I'm also considering a sequel to one of the popular late-Eamons to be
written in the Inform IF language. It's taken a bit of effort so far, but I
at least have the map worked out. That leaves a bunch to do. Anyway, my hope
is that with Inform, Eamon would reach a greater audience.

That would be a great idea. One of the main problems I've found with
"EAMON DX" (otherwise an excellent effort) is the lack of
multiplatform capabilities. With Inform, that problem is completely
solved.

If you nead some help with the Inform port (I have programmed several
games in Inform) I can give a hand. I think it would be interesting to
design libraries to ease writing games a-la-EAMON.

P.S.: By the way, I never had an Apple II nor I did play EAMON when I
was young. I discovered EAMON DX recently, and have to say that I've
enjoyed it greatly. Usually I tend to prefer interactive fiction for
its literary vocation and deeper scope, but works as good as "The
Black Phoenix", "Redemption" or "Banana Republic" have convinced me of
the kind of very good games that can be made in this system.

So.. keep up the good work :) It's a pity that a community like this
were to be forgotten.
