I really enjoyed an episode of HOUSE regarding the little autistic boy who
got worms
in his eyes from the sandbox was great.

He 8 the sandbox!

The tension and contradictions in arguments over autism were familiar, I
certainly remember similar ones from that SSF novel I liked so much, by
Gary somebody.

Anxiety I think it was called.

The argument House posited was similar to one that has gone through my mind
a million times, the white cheerleader's band of acceptance, and all that
such a white cheerleader does to herd in those that don't conform.

But they don't get that not everyone wants to conform

The pediatrician doctor's argument to House was very valid too though.

He said that House identified with the little boy's world because he wanted
to be free of social rules where he was really just an asshole who knew he
was culpable, and therefore needed to stop treating people like crap rather
than pretend he was autistic.

another remarkable episode on house

joel of katz family played a researcher who had gone overbounds in testing
kids by applying radiation directly

he considered himself a pioneer and had remorse

interesting juxtaposition considering his very obvious affiliation with
jewish religion and culture and his starring and oscar and tony turn in
cabaret as gay, given the apparent nazi tendency to perform somewhat
unethical lab experiments

in the meantime, he is dying of a horrible dis ease

house keeps him alive just so he can figure out what ails him because
his ego can't handle not figuring it out

not that giving him morphine to end his life would have been legal anyway

eventually they diagnose him with a terminal disease that will kill him
momentarily anyway making the ending ever more ironic
