I think it may be time to upgrade my computer.
Anyone like to give some advice about graphics cards?
Not just for Battlefield games but for all FPS.

Thanks in advance.

In article <7FXGi.33343$Y7.2...@bignews3.bellsouth.net>, Mitch says...
If you want to save money, go for the 7900 range. DX10 cards are nice
but DX10 games hammer framerates with 30FPS and less even on seriously
top end hardware.

I'm not prejudiced. I hate everyone equally.

One that is shader 3 capable?
I bought a pretty expensive card and now it is just
on ornament.

Your card selection will depend on your other hardware.

An 8800GTS 320 has the best power-price ratio, but if you have older kit, it
would be a waste of power, in which case a 7900GS/X1950 might be more
appropriate.

It depends on your price range really. I have two 5770s, each ran me
about $150 and I would probably be just fine playing most modern fpses
on high settings, with just one card. If you are looking to spend a bit
more, somewhere in the $300 range I'd recommend you look at the Radeon
58xx series. Hope this helps!
