Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update
done sicnce file contents do not match.
Then, when I clicked OK it said,
Installation Failed.
I tried installing the 2 earlier patches again and the said the same thing.
So I uninstalled DK2 and reinstalled it again. I intalled the 2 earlier
patches, then I tried the last patch and, alas, it said the same error
messages. Please can anyone help................please?
Thanks

Also try http://www.ktabic.co.uk/keeper/ for hints and stuff and
http://www.mike-williams.co.uk for a resuming ftp mirror for DK2
patches

We can try. Uninstall and reinstall (don't forget to reboot inbetween
;-)) and then install the 1.61 patch. Don't bother with the 1.5 and
1.51 patches, they are included (or overwrit) in 1.61

Welcome to the wonder that is 'DK2'
I did exactly the same as you and had the same problems. The guys at
Bullfrog Tech Support told me to download the 1.3 to 1.61 patch and it
worked fine. Still doesn't explain why the official patches don't seem to
support each other, but it gets the job done? Enjoy

If anyone have installed the 1.61 patch CORRECTLY, please can they tell me
if there is a number on the bottom left of the main menu indicating 'v1.6'.
Thanks
P.S. Can anyone tell me where I can find the 'Dungeon Bonus Speical Level'
in the NORMAL Levels of 'Level 13: Coversion- Cherish' and 'Level 17:
Angelic- Moonshine'. I know they are in the levels because I read about them
in UK PC GAMER Inssue 74 October 1999.
P.P.S. Have anyone been to Darksword's Dungeon Keeper 2 Website at
www.dkeeper2.net It is a very good site, but it have'nt been updated lately.
I been to it yesterday and it did not work. Is the website closed or
something? Anybody?

YES. The version number only displays the first decimal place. Why? Because
Bullfrog's a bunch of fucknuts. Not completely sure about it, but it's the
best I've come up with.

If you're not against using a cheat, hit ctrl+alt+c, then type in "now the
rain has gone" and the entire map will be revealed. Just scroll around and
look in tucked away places for the secret box.
