IDFA - Gives Firearms and Ammo, but no keys.
IDMUS - This command must be followed by 2 keys, representing what music
number to play. I haven't yet surmised how the keys pressed relate to the
music selected (each is unique and always the same, however). For
instance:
IDMUS00 - will play the introduction music (On DOOM logo screen)
IDMUS11 - will play the music from DOOM ][ (?) named d_stlks2. If a PWAD
file
is not included with this entry in it, DOOM will crash to dos.
Unfortunately,
DMMUSIC will not add music entries other than the D_E1M1 etc, so I had to
HEX
edit the entry in the PWAD. But it did end up working.
IDMUSIC - will give the error: Bad music number 652 (etc...) Following
IDMUS
with some keys apparently goes beyond what DOOM has named as far as music
entries.
If you know someone with a large amount of time on their hands, ask
them
to figure out what each of the key sequences do. There's probably an easy
pattern to it, but I didn't have the patience to wait for doom to load up
more than 3 times before writing this message (R_INIT refresh daemon [....
] is the bane of my existance!)
Someone write to me if I've discovered something cool! Thanks!
