Hi!

Just uploaded dmsilly.zip on wuarchive.wustl.edu in /pub/msdos_uploads/games

Here's the accompanying dmsilly.txt file:

DMSILLY.ZIP LEN=384529 bytes

This file holds 49 new sounds for DOOM1.1 (Thanks Id! I'll be registering
as soon as modem is supported) and requires Bill Neisius' most excellent
DMAUD.EXE to work.

These sounds were created using:

- Star Trek Sounds effect CD (for the doors)
- Creative lab's wave editor
- GoldWave
- A microphone
- A set of vocal chords, a larynx, mouth and lips
- An old banged-up off-key guitar
- A clearly insane mind with way too much free time

Absolutely no Kurzweil 250's were hurt in the making of these sounds.

To install, just pkunzip into a temporary directory and call RUNME.BAT
A copy of your original DOOM1.WAD file will be made prior to modifying the
sounds.

I'll be sampling Barney next. Nyuck nyuck nyuck!
