DCK is a very powerful, very easy to use and very quick DOOM map editor.
It
features an advanced design:
- Fully event-driven interface with dialog boxes, menus, etc
- Does NOT require Windows
- 32-bit code for speed (this means DCK will not work on a 286)
- Intuitive keyboard and mouse commands
DCK's key idea is Automation. No more worrying about upper / lower
textures,
properly closed sectors or any of the other boring stuff that goes into
making
maps. Of course, you have full and complete access to all the low-level
aspects of a map -- every data is also manually changeable.
