I have the registered version of Doom 2.1 and a SBPro. My
problem is that I only get sound effects out of Doom for the
first few seconds (sometimes as long as a minute) and then I
only get music. I figure it's a conflict between the SBPro
and my 16550 card because when I take out the 16550 card, Doom
runs great, sound effects and all.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and figured out a
solution? Or might my 16550 card just not be compatible with
the SBPro? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in
advance.

P.S. Please send email. If I get a suggestion that works,
I'll post it to the net.

Well folks,

The CourtYard (CORTYR_B.ZIP) is finally out of it's big-time clipping
BETA stage and now into the hands of the internet. This level is the *biggest*
custom level that I know of, but only in terms of kilobytes. Included with
the ZIP archive are the following files:

CORTYR_B.WAD <- the part you want
CORTYR_B.LMP <- a quick demo
CREDITS.TXT <- special thanks type stuff
INFO.TXT <- newbie info for running the level and a description

In short, you can find it at "ocf.unt.edu" udner the "pub/incoming".
If the load on "wuarchive.wustl.edu" ever lets up, you can possibly find
it under "pub/MSDOS_UPLOADS/games/doomstuff".
Also, for the European community, you can find it at
"bear.montefiore.ulg.ac.be" under the "pub/incoming/doom/wads/episode3"

*It replaces E3M1*

One last thing -- made only with DEU 5.0 (not even 5.0b4!)
