DOOM.EXE 1.2 registered file request PLEASE. (CROSSPOST)

Trying to install my old 3.5" floppy version of DOOM 1.2 (1993) on an old
laptop. Long story short, disk 1 files were corrupt. Managed to get
everything to decompress correctly except for DOOM.EXE. Tried using the
shareware version (which runs fine on its own) in its place but it's too
smart for that and detects that I am trying to get the shareware version to
run with the registered version.
Any ideas?
