ATI STEREO F/X Card doesn't work!

Hi I can't seem to get my ATI STEREO F/X card to play sound effects for
me! It will play music but not sounds... Does anybody else have this
problem? and can it be fixed?

Mine works fine, have you tried to run the setup program
for your sound card (not the doom setup)? Your DMA maybe
off or something.

Run SFX.EXE the sound adapter setup program and turn of dma buffering.
I think this will be in the next faq.

I wasn't able to get any sound FX on my thunderboard until I changed the
jumper setings to the defaults that the game expects "220 i5 d1 3channels"
works great now. I can't understand why the offer alternative addresses
and irq's when it won't work that way (v1.1 I guess) Anyway it's worth a
"SHOT" because without the FX your missing out on a big part of the game.
