First, I'd like to applaud the author of this utility, it really makes things interesting. Unfortunately, there a couple of problems, I was wondering if anyone else experienced this. The doc says that it won't create levels you can't finish, but once or twice it put me behind doors that I needed keys to get out of. No real big deal, I just turned off clipping and walked through. Also, it sometimes creates monsters that are stuck, and just sit in one place without attacking you, even if you shoot them.
Oh well, still an excellent utility.

I'd be interested to know the circumstances of this. If you should
stumble across a combination of switches and weights which produces this
phenomenon, please send them along to me.

This is a tougher nut to crack, and is one of the primary goals of the
next version. Basically the problem comes about when you replace a small
object, such as a health vial, which is located next to a wall. If you
substitute a larger item, e.g. a Demon, in place of that blue vial, the
Demon will end up partially stuck in the wall. In the case of the spider
demons and Cyber-demon lords, there are quite a few places where these
guys will get stuck. For the moment, the workaround is to keep the
weights on these guys low, and try different seed values. Look for a
real solution in the next version of RanDOOM.
