I've uploaded DMapEdit 2.1 in the appropriate places. The new version can
now save (by popular demand) but not large files (I believe there is a 4k
limit on the components of the files being saved). This should be more
appropriate for user evaluation than version 2.0.

Anyway, the message from the author follows:

Ok, I've been told that there are complaints out there about the
inability to save maps in the shareware. So, I've given you limited
saving abilities in this version. Also have fixed a few things up. So,
try it now. I dare you! (hehe) Anyway, enjoy..

Oh, and I've seen messages about wanting to merge PWADs into a single
PWAD. Well, DMapEdit has always had the ability to just that. If you
don't know off hand how to do it, though, see the "misc. notes" section
in the "dmapedit.doc" file.

Ok, ok.. so where do I get a copy of this editor, you ask?

Requirements to use DMapEdit are still:

* A mouse
* Super VGA card (doesn't need to be VESA anymore, but if it's not, run
UNIVESA first).
* 386 or higher (Math co-processor strongly recommended)
