[prBoom] CRBRICK not found

Hi All!

I have prBoom installed on Mandrake 8.2, and am attempting to run it.
However, when i do so, I get the following error:

W_GetNumForName: CRBRICK not found

I was unable to find any reference to it on Deja. Anyone know what
file/package I am missing? I do have doom1.wad downloaded and in the
/usr/share/games/doom (as well as prboom.wad, of course).

I appreciate your help.

ah ha!
you missed the path for your Iwad just a bit:
/usr/local/share/games/doom/

I don't think the prboom.wad belongs outside of the prboom directory...
but I don't have Linux, so what do I know...

Actually, this was installed via RPM, which installed it to /usr/share
(RPMS tend to install to /usr instead of /usr/local). Just in case, I
copied them over to /usr/local/games/doom, but I still get the same error.

How do you mean? I don't actuallt have a prboom directory; the prboom
executeables are in /usr/games

Anyone else have this running successfully on Linux (preferably Mandrake)?
If so, where are all the files you have for running it? Could you possibly
post the list of them to me here (with their full path) so I can compare it
to what I have?

hmmm... don't know.
are you running it as root? (I bet you probably are)

There are some penguins around here.... perhaps they will speak up.
