Diablo/Hellfire MPQ's

Hi @ll,

does somebody knows how to put Files back to
the Diablo/Hellfire MPQ's ??? I tried "mpq2k" but when
I start playing I get errormessages or the modified graphics
did not appear.

mpq2k is the only way us non-blizzard pople can do it (as far as i know). It
worked fine with me, tho i wasnt able to get mpq2k compressing the data
lements.

Heres a snippet of batch file i used to making it. (Yes a makefile would
have been a good option)...

mpq2k a work.mpq data\gamble.txt data\global\excel\gamble.txt
mpq2k a work.mpq data\armor.txt data\global\excel\armor.txt
mpq2k a work.mpq data\weapons.txt data\global\excel\weapons.txt
mpq2k a work.mpq data\misc.txt data\global\excel\misc.txt
copy work.mpq d:\games\diablo2\patch_d2.mpq

Yes u r right. It works fine with the Diablo 2 MPQ's.
But NOT with the Diablo/Hellfire MPQ's (ex. hellfire.mpq, diabdat.mpq) ...
