Known to locals as WSSF, the World Ski & Snowboard Festival combines spring energy with Whistler's unique mountain culture for a week of non-stop events and action on and off the slopes. This April event brings ski and snowboard competitions, music, art, photography, filmmaking and exciting nightlife, plus some of the best skiing and après sessions of the season. Take our word for it, you’ll need more than the weekend to appreciate this vibe.

So what’s the deal with spring in Whistler? Think goggle tans, soft spring turns for skiers and snowboarders and a village bursting with things to do off the slopes, from sunny après sessions to more outdoor adventures with space to relax.
During the summer, enjoy interpretive walks winding through alpine lakes, along with epic ridgelines and through evergreen forests of Crystal Mountain. Guided horseback rides showcase the best this area has to offer in a relaxing, safe atmosphere. An 18-hole disc golf course spans the mountain top-to-bottom, and frequent weekend events bring live music to the hillsides.

Snowboarding games seemed to pop up all of the time many years ago just as skateboarding games tended to. This could come down to the fact that snowboarding games by nature are somewhat linear in that you generally move down a mountain from point A to point B, with the occasional game giving you an open mountain to explore. Fortunately, there are a couple more snowboarding games from days gone by that absolutely deserve to be mentioned here.
