Can a sorc stack armor spells?

I can't seem to tell if a Sorc can cast Chilling Armor, ShiverArmor,
and Frozen Armor at the same time?
Are all 3 active it you do, and how can you tell ?

For mele fighting if a cow gets too close I went with shiver armor is
this the best one for this situation?

No, you cannot.

You can look at the character sheet -- if all three were active, your
defense rating would be much higher. But only one can be active at a
time.

Shiver (second) Armour is the best of the three cold armours, for most
situations. Frozen (first) Armour is an option if you're low on skill
points and still want a def boost, since it doesn't have pre-reqs.

I like Frozen better for the monsterfreeze even if it's just for a second...
Yes, Shiver has higher defense bonus but not all that much, and the damage
is too low to do anything.

But you can stack energy shield and one of the cold armors
