Ive also heard of two types of claw, Natalya and Bartuc, are these special
items or actual types of claw and what sort of stats do they have?
Thanks

The best type of claw is the scissors suwayyah, which is extremely rare.
It only drops in the latter part of act V Hell difficulty, and the
monsters there only have a .058% chance of dropping one.

Bartuc's Cut-Throat is the game's only unique claw. It does excellent
damage, leeches life, and will raise your skill levels by quite a bit.
Bartuc's is inexpensive, since it's the most common of the class
specific unique weapons. My assassin currently uses two of them.
Natalya's Mark is the game's only set claw. It doesn't raise skill
levels, but it has several godly mods on it (ignores target's defense,
awesome enhanced damage, extra damage to demons and undead). It is
extremely rare and quite expensive.
I've got everything in Natalya's set except for Natalya's Mark. I've
been looking for Natalya's Mark on and off again for months now and have
not found one.

Natalya's is a set item. Bartuc's is a unique. Both are very rare,
so you may never see them. Again, look them up on the Battlenet site
to see stats.

This is something, er another thing, that has been bothering me for a while
now...
Why do several of the set or unique items that should have +skill tree mods
on them NOT have them. Natalya's Mark, Sander's Superstition, Naj's
Puzzler, M'avina's Caster, Griswold's Honor, Griswold's Redemption, Aldur's
Stony Gaze just to name a few of the set items that really should have some
plus skill tree mods on them to make them worth using.
And they could have picked things that most people normally would not "pump
up" to put on these items. Ex: G's Redemption could add +3 Conc, or +2
Veng, etc while G's Honor should add something to the Def tree like +3 to
Defience. Nat's Mark could had something to almost any of the skills for a
bit of help. M'avina's should add something to one of the arrow skills at
least if not just the entire Bow skill tree.
Just not sure what the heck they were thinking on some of these things.

Thanks for the info - I've been looking for Natalya's Mark for a while
now. But where did you get the ".058% chance" figure?
BTW I found a 180%ED Bartuc's claw in Nightmare mode after beating the
Council in Travincal. I've also traded for a Bartuc's (and more) with
a Lum rune, then for another with 40 chipped gems.
