Usually I ping around 75-150 to USWest. Today it's jumping between
750-2100. Are they having something funky going on?

could be. Literally a few minutes ago. USwest HC

Just was doing one of the fake tombs to level some and started
rubberbanding like crazy. Lost my level 20 Druid. Oh well.

I usually only play private to avoid the bots.

Ping was okay today. FPS was lower than yesterday but I think that's a
difference between Win7 and WINE. I'm going to keep playing and see what
happens.

Sorry about the loss :( At least he was 20 and not 70!

Luckily, Druids are not too popular. He (Zeph-II) is still #45 on HC
ladder. So, it will not take long to get another one back up. My only
regret was debating at 19 to mule off the gems and runes and deciding to
wait.

But, I'm sticking with softcore for the rest of today.

I tend not to do HC on BNet simply because of the risk of lag deaths. I
stick to SC exclusively there! Except in D3 where I have a HC witch
doctor at the dizzy heights of level 12. :P

Her Speariness has hit level 19, has obtained a Horadric Cube and is
currently wielding a Spetum socketed with two flawed and one chipped gem.
