Last night my friend was talking all about this Darkstone game.

He said it's the biggest rip-off of Diablo (all the reviews I've read say
the same thing) but that's what it's supposed to be and that's why people
love it. I played it a bit.. Pretty strange. It seems really cartoony and
unserious. The graphics looked pretty cool. I'm going to play a bit more
tonight, see what it's like.

Has anyone else played, or hear of this game?
Does anyone actually play it regularly and like it?

Just wondering. :o)

yeah i played it a while back. the demo that is. the demo was quite good, and
very hard in some spots (since you could go to some places you weren't suppose
to go yet (char level wise).

overall i thought it was great fun, but D1 still whups its ass, but Darkstone is
something to play until D2-day.

Yes,I played Darkstone for quite awhile and liked it alot.

What you have to understand, and some people have a hard time with this,
It's NOT Diablo. It's a Diablo clone in gameplay alone. Yes the graphics are
a bit cartoony ... as they were intended.

It's not a D2 killer or maybe even a Diablo killer but it IS a good game on
it's own.

Enjoy!

I played it for a couple of days, then went back to Diablo.

I got it, and I have played trough it. It was fun while it lasted. IMO
it was too easy and too short. And once you are trough it you don't
care to start over with another character. No replayability.
