What would people like to see in a posible third Diablo game?
All I want is a hotkey that you can press and it will say "You Win", then
give you every unique in the game and make your character lvl 99. ; )

Dungeon Siege is an excellent game? I must have missed something...
My dreams of Diablo 3? Here we go:
- WarCraft III engine
- more acts
- more monsters
- more items
I really like D2, I don't have much specific ideas on how to improve it.
It's an almost perfect game, for me, that is.

Welcome to World of Warcraft! And now it's rated teen so Blizz is sure to get
more sales! (yes?)

DIII ugh.....I have no idea, but I don't see it coming out until at least 12
months after WoW. Maybe WoW will have the stricter rpg roots and DIII will be
more of a MMOAdventure? Yes that makes no sense if you think about wc being
teen targeted and diablo being more mature, but who cares? Or will DIII just
stick to the XX players in a game way of playing and not switch to a world
style?
Or we will get the "highly anticipated" Diablo
RTS!!11!!!1!!1!!!!111!!!11!!!!!1!!
Diablo III: WoW with slightly more mature theming and slightly less mature
players, still :(
Please Blizz, surprise me.
exellent engine, ill give it that.

That would be good, but make sure it doesn't follow dungeon siege, being an
engine without a game.

Much more powerful uniques at the high end of the game, would add a bit of
variety, instead of every one using a WF, or a lightsabre, or titans.

way more characters, way more. variety is the spice of life, and when u see
all of the characters on bnet following the same basic character, i wonder
why they bother. I love trying the different characters and the different
skills invloved in those characters.

They should also try to make it a mod friendly game like dungeon siege. AR
and Bgate mods rock.
One last thing, is that hacks and all the other bad things about bnet, could
be fixed if blizzard made an larger effort. im sure that they could find
some way where the integrity mpq's were checked upon joining bnet (i don't
know much about hacks, cause i really don't want to know.).

Checking mpqs wouldn't stop hacks it would just stop people from setting
character sayings to be an on-demand music player :)
Mpqs just have what you see and what you hear, along with some backups of the
programs and extensions. They don't affect anything as far as rules go, unless
you're the game host (SP, LAN, open b.net, not realms) and even then only
patch_d2.mpq is used.

Diablo 2:
Graphics: 7/10
out of date since Dungeon Siege came out but good for the time the game was
released
Game play: 8/10
Story is good but can get boring if played too much
Characters: 8/10
nice variety of character classes only 7 to pick from though
Average Mark: 8/10
Dungeon Siege:
Graphics: 9/10
nice graphics good engine (like the 360 deg rotate view)
Game play: 7/10
Does follow a story but can easily be side tracked
Characters: 6/10
two options male/female not a great selection there
Average Mark: 7/10
Neverwinter Nights
Graphics: 8/10
appears to be similar to the dungeon siege graphics but not quite as sharp
Game play: 9/10
Has quite a good story to it. Enemy even dodge your attacks
Characters: 9/10
Wow talk about choice, you can pick your race even your characters portrait.
However can be a bit complex for those not that familiar with the world Dungeon
and Dragons
Average Mark 9/10
I think there's a lot of talk, but I don't know that much of it is
coming from Blizzard.
I'd like to see a capability for third party maps a'la Quake or
Half-life.
