Where's the best place to get a Book of Fire Wall?

Firewall is mid to low level, I think. Church and Cats are the best
place to find the most books... and the books there are usually in
that range.
BTW, that shrine is far from the "wrong" shrine to hit... You will
notice that all your other spells get boosted each time you hit it
while only one gets dropped. Cheap, dirty, and efficient spell
boosting. ;) For a warrior, it's about the only way to max out most of
his spells...

paladijn
gives you loads of books, but those only are lvl1 spellbooks, while
you'll get lvl2 and 3 books in the cats. FireWall is more important for
a warrior or Rogue as a defensive spell rather then the mages offensive
spells. Still it is one of the understimated spells for it's usage... :)

I think that the range goes between levels 3 to 7... At least I find a lot
of Fire Wall books from those levels :)
Level 8 then tends to give more level 3 spell already, Fireball's, Mana
Shields and so on.
Anyway, you should play a lot of cats if you want to get your spell levels
up, especially levels 7 to 8. I usually play my Sorcerors in normal/hell
until they reach level 30 to get good equipment to them first and after that
I head to Hell/Cats to get their spell levels up. And this I do until they
are around experience levels 35-37 =)
Anyways, as others has said as well, that shrine you touched wasn't
definitely the wrong one! It was Enchanted shrine what gives +1 to all
spells spell levels and -1 spell level to only one spell (-2 if the spell is
at level 15). Getting the rest of your spells spell levels up by one at the
cost of one sounds worthwhile to me =)

Adria is really the best choice.
Just go to the cats, then back to Adria.. then back to cats.. etc
eventually she will offer you firewall, guarenteed.
Make sure you have 6000 handy.

2 which means its pretty easy to get. One way you can do it is what I like
to call "manipulate Adria" which entails going to Adria, checking her stock,
going down into the catacombs and immediately back up again and then
shopping Adria again to see if what you are seeking has been added to what
she is offering. Since she renews her inventory each time you come up from
the dungeon, this is a great way to shop for books, elixers and staffs. You
can also seek out Enchanted shrines which boost all spells one level while
reducing one spell by one level. Its a good bargain and a good chance you
will enhance your spells this way if you work at it.
