Hellfire shrine

I just ran across a glowing shrine. Since I haven't played Hellfire in
quite a long time, I've been looking up what the shrines do in
Jarulf's guide so that I don't hit a bad one. To my surprise, glowing
isn't listed. Anyone remember what the glowing shrine does?

If current experience is equal to or below
5000, set it to 0 and you get +[exp/1000]
Magic. If current experience is above 5000
you get +5 Magic and -5% experience

My version was older. I have version 1.40.

Oh my, it's Demigoddess, had not expected to see a post from you
here.
Good to see you around, I'm using a different posting setup nowdays
but you may remember me from D2 as Magelett or from D1 (and it's
mad's) as MartianMageling. I also went by MM in AGD and ART.

Saw a post from Zilth while reading thru the posts as well....

Haven't seen anything from Hanky', Otarin or SR recently tho.

I had reinstalled D2 the other day and the 'old standard' named game
was ladder restricted and then above a newbie's level as well. I have
a new 'ress called MMrevisited (non-ladder) and a necro called
NecroMM.

Too bad they seem to have persisted in banning the chatbot's, I miss
subbot.

I'll be popping thru the old chat channel when I play or if you see
this feel free to whisper @ me.

Hail DemiGoddess,

Not sure if your still here, but a glowing shring increases magic by +5 for
5% of expierence. Howeber make sure you have more than 5000 expierence
points first.

I still pass through here occasionally. I died in the game where I
found that shrine. It's been so long since I played single player D1
that I forgot I can't just restart in town. I had never saved it so
would have needed to start all over again. Then the D2 ladder reset.
I've been playing that quite a bit now.
