consider me a fanatic at diablo i went so far as to print out the full 101
pages of the 1.31 Jarulf's guide for easy reference(the computer's CPU sucks
so much that it's faster by hand...)

and i must say that your Guide has helped me out in many places where i had
doubts

although i haven't checked out the new version, i have to ask about a few
specific details : why does the Dark Ones have a lower monster level in hell
difficulty compared to the other fallen one types? and considering the
Butcher and the Skeleton King to Diablo in Hell difficulty, isn't it kinda
strange if Diablo has a lower monster level than the other two?

well, if it's just because it is, then ok...(i didn't mean to insult you in
anyway)

also, i've compared the guide to the "official" Diablo strategy guide from
Prima's Secrets of the Games :

Does Hazeshifter(unseen unique) exist at all? whether or not it appears in
level 5, i don't know...
how about Devilskull Sharpbone?(level 9)
Stormbane? (level 9)
Lord of the Pit? (level 13)
and did Gorefeast(vortex lord) have the last name Angelkiller?
Webwidow? (level 16, hell spawn)
Fleshdancer? (level 16, soul burner)

i am sure that the last 2 cannot exist in level 16...(could possibly be in
level 15, but even then i doubt about them...)

well, any clearing up on these would be grateful
and i would be waiting for any other new versions of the great guide

Ooops, a typo :(

Well, some monsters have extra bonuses, not much I can do about that
:)

Remember that Diablo still has a lot better general stats such as
ToHit, Damage and so on.

Well, that one has a lot of errors, be warned!

My Guide list ALL unique monsters that will ever appear in the game.
However, there are several other uniquer monsters (of which you list
some above) that exists within the game files but they will never for
various reasons appear in the game. Too bad but that is how it is.

>i am sure that the last 2 cannot exist in level 16...(could possibly be in
>level 15, but even then i doubt about them...)

It is true that those two unique witches are set to appear on dlvl 16
but as you know, dlvl 16 is special in that it always have advocates
and blood knights only. Perhaps they made that change late in the
process and forgot to reassign the unique monsters that was set to
appear there.

>

Well, 1.04 (in case you only have 1.31) is a great improvement over
earlier versions. As for any future updates, I have no plans at the
moment but if enough new stuff appears, I will consider it.

Just back from the library. I didn't have any blank paper but I Xeroxed the
back of a page I had only used one side of. I made 500 copies at a dime a
piece. *whew* I'm glad they had enough toner. (I only had a piece of black
paper.) I'm busy filling my ink cartridge in my printer with WhiteOut now to
start printing.

What monster in Hellfire casts Bone Spirit??

In the decription of the Guardian spell, you've wrote Golem instead of
Guardian

IIRC the ShadowDrinker dosn't have a mob

That was all I saw during a quick look-through of you new guide - oh, and
one more thing: I was on the list - YES!!! Now I have something to tell my

I've seen all of these in Varaya and Khan's Hellfire mod, but as Pedro's guide
shows, they are not in Diablo.

I know I've seen Angelkiller pop up on screen before (though it was quite
awhile ago, and I'm not sure if it was a mod or in Hellfire...)

hehehe still using a keyboard for a data input device eh? How quaint.
I've switched almost exclusively to voice recognition software and retinal
tracking pointer devices.
You can get these pretty cheap if you know the right people. I can send you
